It's YOUR FREAKIN' turn...(sorry, not sorry, for this rant)

Greetings [FIRST NAME GOES HERE],

Have you ever wanted MORE for your life but you didn't know HOW to make it happen?!?

I know this feeling.

I've yearned, prayed, meditated, asked for and gotten all kinds of support to make my MORE happen, but I found that it wasn't about WHO I went to or WHAT I did, it was HOW I was BEING.

The MORE didn't actually happen until I got clear on a few things:

✅ what I really wanted

✅ what I was committing to

✅ what level of integrity I was bringing

✅ what kinds of action did I need to take

✅ what was the deadline to make it happen

✅ what did I need to BE in order to align to what I needed to DO

There are many people who are IDEA-generators but not ACTION-takers.

They dream of:

one day...☁️

when this happens...☁️

when my fairy godmother shows up...☁️

when all the chips line up...☁️

when the big Boss in the sky says YES...then...it'll be MY TURN.☁️

Well friend, let me pop that bubble 🫧 for you right now.

↪️ It's your FREAKIN' TURN.

↪️ It's your FREAKIN' LIFE.

↪️ It's your FREAKIN' DESTINY.

↪️ It's your FREAKIN' TIME.

This is what came to me as I sat across my beautiful friend, Luna, celebrating her birthday lunch.

We've been friends for over 20+ years. I value her and our friendship deeply, and I didn't want to wait until the time was "right" to celebrate. After all, today IS her birthday. So what did I do?

I spontaneously took action and invited her to brunch. We just made it happen. There wasn't a long text chain of going back and forth. We didn't have to block off time and pencil it our calendar. We didn't have to make a lot of stuff happen. We just met for lunch.

It's that simple. So WHY do we make life so hard?

Life isn't about waiting for things to come to you.

Life is about grabbing its beautiful horns and riding that B$%#H all the way to the end.

Life is about believing in yourself enough to go for it because this is YOUR CHANCE to get it right.

But...what if I mess up? 🫣

But...what if I get it wrong? 🫣

But...what if no one likes what I'm doing? 🫣

But...what if I piss people off? 🫣

But...but...but🫣

Stop. Please. Just stop.

Focus on what you want. Focus on how you want to BE. Focus on what you need to do to get there.

Don't ask for other people's opinions or validations especially if they're NOT doing the work. It'll only bog you down.

This is YOUR invitation to believe in yourself.

This is YOUR invitation to BE in C.H.A.R.G.E. of your life and destiny.

This is YOUR invitation to take action.

You know who you are. You know what you're here to do. And when you step fearlessly into it, you'll change the world. Together...we RISE because we are the Change Agents the world is looking for.

I'm on way to a beginners couple's dance class. For many years, I wanted to learn HOW to dance with my partner but felt too nervous and scared. Instead of waiting for the right time, place and person...we just took action, made an appointment and now we're going to boogey down...even if we step on each other's feet.
