What does it mean to INVEST in yourself

I hope you’re doing well and feeling blessed. I want to pop into your inbox for a while because I’m getting ready to set off on an adventure of a lifetime. I want to discuss something very important with you—the importance of investing in yourself and your life experiences.

Somewhere along the way, I began to awaken to the importance of self-care and investing in myself, my growth, and my experiences. I happened upon this because I discovered the power of choice and choosing for myself.

I used to feel guilty that I wanted things differently from others. I used to feel guilty about hiding my travel plans until the last minute in case anyone tried to stop me. I used to feel guilty that I wanted to experience life and all its richness. I used to feel guilty for wanting luxury, posh experiences.

Then…I started to work in the hospital as a nurse. I took care of countless people who died with regrets, who experienced disappointments because they couldn’t do what they wanted to, or who felt like it was too late to do anything because they were too old, too fat, too poor, too late, too sick, too whatever.

What that taught me is that you don’t have the luxury of time to wait for life to give you what you want. You’ve got to step up, claim it, and do whatever it takes to make your bold dreams come true.

Early on, I knew investing in myself was the only way to get what I wanted.

So, at the age of 18, I became more conscientious about the products that I used on my body. I began the journey of seeking natural, alternative, organic, and healthy products.

Then, I began to invest in travel and experiences. From my 20s to my 50s, I’ve traveled nearly all over the world, touching upon Europe countless times, evolving in Egypt with my Spirit Guides, playing in Mexico and Central America with my Beloved, and following concerts that my heart desires.

I invested in LIVING to the fullest because it’s the essence of who I am.

I also invested in coaching for my business. From the time I started to recently, I’ve worked with coaches to help me get out of my own way, be strategic about my actions, and step up to a greater level of visibility.

Though it was financially challenging at times, I chose to invest in myself and my business because this was and is the BEST GIFT I can give to me. I believe in myself and what I’m doing.

Let me tell you…investing in yourself and your life experiences is WHY you’re here on Earth.

It’s not just about fitting into the status quo, checking off the boxes, or settling for good enough.

It’s about growth, exploration, and curiosity. It’s about pushing yourself past your comfort zone to discover the Divine in you and others. It’s about being willing to shed old layers and discover new, enriching aspects of yourself.

I need this to evolve, thrive, and be happy. So do you.

Many people resist spending money on themselves because they have stories about their worthiness, wealth, financial literacy, and personal power.

I have those same stories, too, but guess what? I came here to resolve anything that gets in the way of spiritual evolution, clarity, and purpose.

I know that I don’t want to experience life through someone else’s spoon-fed, dimmed-down versions of it.

No friend…I want to feel it. I want to be there. I want to taste it. I want to live it. Do you?

Soon, I will be leaving to attend a high-powered women’s CEO retreat in Crete, Greece. I will be meeting up with my coach and other business leaders who are kicking ass in the world. This is the seat at the table I have been waiting for.

I can tell I’m going to be a different person when I return. I’m more open to shifting and evolving than I have ever been. I have a whole new lease on life because I feel like Spirit is giving me the chance to go for it.
