Thanksgiving = Thanksliving

As we gather during this holiday season, we are reminded of all the blessings and special things that make our lives truly a remarkable experience.   From families and friends to our homes and jobs, the list of gratitude could be exceptionally long.  However, thanksgiving should be extended beyond one Thursday in November.

To really live in the spirit of thanksgiving and gratitude, there has to be a mindshift to Thanksliving.  Thanksliving is a mental, emotional, and spiritual attitude of giving thanks all the time and every time.  It is a way of life, a way of being, an awareness that resonates to the cellular memory.   It is Ho’oponopono in action.

Thanksliving is also the mindful intention of connecting to Great Spirit and being receptive to messages, lessons, and people that come into your path to help you raise your vibration and keep it on a level that resonates with your highest good.    Thanksliving allows us to look at ourselves and how we impact the world with our thoughts, words, and actions.  We can give back by our awareness of the power of gratitude.

So how do you live with a Thanksliving Attitude? Here are a 9 tips to help you along.

#1.  When you look at people or at yourself, remember that there is a spark of God’s light that resonates within that keeps and sustains your spirit.  Give thanks!

#2.  When you prepare to eat your meal, remember that there are multiple hands  have brought that food to your table and that their energy is infused in the vibration of your meal.  Give thanks!

#3.  When you face challenges that seem overwhelming, remember that the Creator does not give you more than you can handle.  Therefore, your resilient spirit must be able to handle more than you can grasp and therefore have a wellspring of strength unbeknownst to you.  Give thanks!

#4.  When you arise in the morning, realize that you have another day to make an impact in someone’s life through a nice word of kindness, gratitude, or acknowledgement.  You make a difference.  Give thanks!

#5.  When you intentionally send a prayer to lift someone’s spirit or to assist someone in their time of need, you are sending the vibration of unconditional love, and that is a priceless gift.  Give thanks!

#6.  When you remember that you are a radiant and wondrous being, your world lightens up and you create a ripple of positivity and joy that helps elevate the vibrations of our Earth and her inhabitants.  Give thanks!

#7.  As you appreciate the gifts and blessings that you have, you will find that more will come to you.  You will even be surprised at the different avenues that these blessings come through.  From strangers to friends and families, you are not limited in receiving what is rightfully yours if asked from a humble and self-less heart.  Give thanks!

#8.  When you find yourself in pure joy, laughing and being a channel of bliss and merriment, you bring the childlike element of fun into your existence.  This vibration will keep you young and open to the healing energy of Spirit.  To come from a childlike place of wonder keeps the perspective of newness and awe that allows us to be receptive to new experiences without judging or fear.  Give thanks!

#9.  And finally, thanksliving is about trusting and living a life based on love not fear.  Fear is an obstacle that will limit your experiences.  Living a life based on trust and love will create prosperity, abundance, and opportunities beyond your wildest dreams.  Give thanks!

So we encourage you to shift your mindset from thanksgiving for a day to thanksliving for a lifetime.  Living in gratitude is a gift that you give the world and receive back ten-fold.  So shalom, salamat, shukran, zikomo, yokoke, grazia, cheers, tashakkur, merci, danke, toda, danyavad, aho, arigato, atto, da ja, dekui, aske, mossi, tlazohcamati, masalu, dzieki, maururu, hvala, khwap khun, tujechhe, ngiyabonga, and also thank you.  There are over 465 languages to say ‘Thank You’ and there are over a million ways to live in thanks.  Do you have it in you to shift your way of being?  We think so and wish you a happy thanksliving!
